Rehearsals

We photographed this rehearsal and set the photos to upbeat music.  [Click the picture to view the slide show.]  We like to attend the rehearsal when possible and take some test shots.  One benefit to us attending the rehearsal is that the couple, their immediate family, and the wedding party all get used to having the cameras around and to being photographed.  Consequently, everyone’s a little more relaxed about it on the wedding day.  Below are some personal faves among our rehearsal pics.  (The wedding was at the Irish Cultural and Heritage Center in Milwaukee.)

Flower girl comes down aisle too fast and loses shoe.  Wedding at St. Maria Goretti, Madison.

The look on her face here.

“Vibrant”.  The Wedding was at Boerner Botanical Garden in Hales Corners.

“Mood”.  The wedding was at Trinity Lutheran in Cedarburg.

“Colorful”.  The wedding was at Holy Apostles Catholic in New Berlin.

“History”.  Martin Luther King gave a speech here at the Irish Cultural and Heritage Center.

The girls usually do better than the boys at coming down the aisle on the big day.  The wedding was at Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox in Wauwatosa.

The smile on this groom’s face as he watches his girl come down the aisle.  The wedding was at Community United Methodist in Elm Grove.

The bridesmaid was late for the rehearsal so a stand-in was needed.  The wedding was at Trinity Episcopal in Oshkosh.
